Fall Schedule Set For Cross Country

SEATTLE – The Husky cross country schedule is set, with Washington planning to get plenty familiar with its new Big Ten Conference rivals as well as the course that will host the NCAA Championships come November. Big Ten foe Wisconsin hosts the championships at the end of the season, and Washington is set to make two trips to Madison prior to November.
Also circled on the calendar is Nov. 1, when the Huskies will race for their first ever Big Ten Championship in Champaign, Illinois. Washington won the final Pac-12 Championships on the women's side last year, and was runner-up in the men's race.
The Huskies will start close to home, bringing back the dual meet with Seattle U. out at Magnuson Park on Tuesday, Sept. 3.
Then it's back-to-back trips to Wisconsin for the Nuttycombe Invitational on Sept. 27 and the Pre-Nationals on Oct. 19 at the Thomas Zimmer Championship Course.
Following the conference meet, the Huskies will stay in-state for NCAA West Regionals, which Washington State is hosting this year in Colfax on Nov. 15
The NCAA Championships close out the fall on Nov. 23 back in Madison one more time.
