Dawgs To Host Pilots For Exhibition On Aug. 23

SEATTLE -- Next Friday, Aug. 23, Husky fans can get a free preview of the 2024 UW Volleyball season as the Huskies host an exhibition match against Portland in Alaska Airlines Arena. The match will start at 6 p.m. and admission is free for all.

It will be the first chance to see the Huskies take on another opponent this season, just one week prior to the season opener at Montana State on Aug. 30. Washington's official home season opener does not come until week three of the season, when the Huskies host Washington State on Sept. 13.

Washington has six new players that will put on the uniform for the first time next Friday including transfers Kiune Fletcher, Zoria Heard, and Sophia Tulino, and freshmen Addy Benefield, Alexis Haury, and Julia Hunt.
