Complete USTFCCCA Program of the Year Rankings
SEATTLE -- With Top-20 finishes at all three of the NCAA Championships during the 2023-24 academic year, the Husky women's track & field and cross country squad finished ninth in the USTFCCCA Program of the Year rankings. It's the second top-10 finish for the women's team in the past four years under Maurica Powell.
The Program of the Year rankings take into account a team's finish at the cross country, indoor track & field, and outdoor track & field NCAA Championships. Qualifying and scoring at all three championships is required for inclusion in the year-end rankings.

The ninth-place finish ties for the best during Powell's time as Director, and ties for the second-highest in program history. It's an improvement from last year's 13th-place finish. Washington's best-ever finish on the women's side was 3rd in 2011-12. Washington also finished ninth in 2020-21, and in 2008-09, the first year of the rankings.
This year the Huskies placed eighth at the Cross Country Championships in November of 2023. They then tied for 17th at the NCAA Indoor meet in March of 2024, and placed 20th at last week's NCAA Outdoor Championships in Eugene.
