
Four Huskies Earn All-Pac-12 Menβs Golf Honors

SAN FRANCISCO β The conference office announced the All-Pac-12 men's golf teams for the 2023-24 season on Thursday, with the Washington Huskies placing four players among the venerable mentions.

Petr Hruby earned his third-straight all-conference nod, landing on the first team for the first time in his career. Taehoon Song's was tabbed Second Team All-Pac-12, while Teddy Lin garnered honorable mention laurels. Finn Koelle rounded out UW's honorees, earning a spot on the Pac-12 All-Freshman team.
"This is a nice reward for those guys," head coach Alan Murray said. "They have played really well this year in a very competitive conference. The recognition is well deserved."

A candidate for the Ben Hogan Award and Fred Haskins Award, Hruby is UW's first First Team All-Pac-12 honoree since RJ Manke and Noah Woolsey in 2022. The senior has earned seven top-10 finishes this season, with 14 rounds in the 60's.

The 2023 Husky Invitational individual champion, Song earns his first all-conference nod in his final season in Purple and Gold. Song, who's 63 during the first round of the Husky Invitational was the lowest round of the season for a Husky by three strokes, also took second at the Southwestern Invitational in Westlake Village, California.

Lin, a model of consistency for the Huskies in 2023-24, returns as an All-Pac-12 honoree after garnering a second team nod in 2022. Lin placed inside the top-20 individually in 8-of-11 events this season, including a fourth-place finish at the Sahalee Players Championship to open the season. Lin's 16 rounds under par are the second most on the team behind only Hruby.

Koelle was named the Pac-12 All-Freshman Team after flashing brilliance throughout his rookie campaign. The German international posted three top-10's and had UW's lowest 54-hole score of the season, tying for second at the 2024 Amer Ari with a 198, 18 strokes under par.

Washington earned it's fourth-consecutive NCAA Tournament bid on Wednesday, being selected as the No. 2 seed at the Rancho Santa Fe Regional at The Farms Golf Club in Rancho Santa Fe, California, May 13-15.
