Washington moves to 18-3 overall and 2-1 in Pac-12 play.
The Huskies got on the board in the bottom of the first. Brooklyn Carter led off with a single. She went on to steal second and on her steal of third an errant throw allowed her to score. Carter has 16 stolen bases now on the season.

Arizona State tied up the game in the top of the second after Tanya Windle hit a two-out double and was brought around on a single by Libby Walsh.
The Sun Devils took the lead in the third with three runs on three hits. ASU added to its lead in the fourth with a pair of runs for the 6-1 advantage.
Washington was able to cut the lead to four after Rylee Holtorf led off the inning on walk and was brought around on a Brooke Nelson single.
The game entered an hour and two minute rain delay as they went into the sixth inning.
Coming out of the delay, Arizona State brought in three runs to extend its lead to 9-2.
Down to the final three outs, Holtorf came to the plate and hit her third home run of the season to cut the lead to six. The Huskies were unable to bring in another run to bring the score to its final.

Nelson got the start in the circle, going two innings with three strikeouts and a run allowed. Ruby Meylan (7-2) came on in relief and tossed an inning. Sidne Peters and Lindsay Lopez also appeared in the game and had a combined five strikeouts.
Up next, Washington will travel down to Tucson for a three-game series against Arizona. All games will be streamed on Pac-12 Networks.
