Two Huskies Named To The B1G Gymnast To Watch List

SEATTLE – Two Huskies, Lana Navarro and Emily Innes, were named to the 2025 Big Ten gymnasts to watch list on Tuesday afternoon.
Lana Navarro, a senior, has been a steady competitor for the Dawgs. She competed on vault, beam and floor at every meet last season and tied her career-high score of 9.900 on all three events.
"Lana is a seasoned competitor who brings a wealth of experience and success to our team," head coach Jessa Hansen Parker said. "Her combination of high difficulty and poise is sure to make an impact in the Big Ten."
Emily Innes, a junior, made appearances in every vault, beam and floor lineup during the 2024 season. She hit career highs in all three events and rounded out the season as the NCAA Regional Floor Champion.
"Emily is an absolute rock for our team and an incredible asset across three events," Hansen Parker said. "She will wow fans on floor with her dynamic tumbling and captivating choreography."
The Huskies ranked 11th on the Big Ten preseason coaches' poll. They will open the regular season on Jan. 10 at the Purple Strong Washington Quad meet. Tickets are available here.
