
Huskies Face No. 7 LSU In The Bahamas

SEATTLE – The Washington women's basketball team (6-1, 0-0 Big Ten) is headed to the Caribbean for the Baha Mar Hoops Pink Flamingo Championship to take on the 7th-ranked LSU Tigers in its first game of the tournament.
The Huskies will play two games which will be held at the Baha Mar Convention Center in Nassau, Bahamas.
Washington will face LSU in its first game on Monday, Nov. 25 at 10:30 a.m. PT.
On Wednesday the 27th, UW will either face Southern or NC State.
The game will be available on FloCollege, where the play-by-play announcer will be Sam Hyman and Marlene Stollings will be an analyst.
Gary Hill will call the game on 1090 KPTR-AM.
LAST TIME OUT
Washington improved to 6-0 at home in Alaska Airlines Arena after breaking a few season and individual records on Friday in a 65-50 win over Prairie View A&M.
Washington held the Panthers to 50 points, its sixth game this season holding an opponent to under 60 points – all six of them wins.
The Dawgs recorded a school record 16 blocks as a team. It marked the most by a Husky team since 2017 (11 blocks).
Tayra Eke led the way with a career-high eight blocked shots, the most in a game by a player at Alaska Airlines Arena.
Dalayah Daniels recorded her 19th career double-double with 11 points, 11 rebounds, and a career-best six blocked shots.

No. 7 LSU is 6-0 to start the season, scoring 90 or more points in four of its six games.
Kim Mulkey's team finished the 2023-24 season 31-6 after winning the 2023 NCAA national championship a year before.
The Huskies have played the Tigers just twice before and are 1-1 in those two games, both at neutral sites. The Huskies lost 72-49 to LSU March 20, 2006 and defeated the Tigers, Dec. 7, 1991, 63-57.
