Indiana grabbed the lead after an early interception, a lead they never relinquished on route to improving to 8-0 on the season.
Down 14-0 in the second quarter, Will Rogers dumped it off to Giles Jackson for a 6-yard run to cut the deficit in half.
Indiana had a 7-minute, 30-second drive at the end of the second quarter but were held to three points after the Huskies came up with a goal-line stand on third-and-goal from the one yard line.
The Hoosiers received the second half kickoff, but Jacob Bandes grabbed a tipped ball on the first play from scrimmage for his first career interception. Possession turned over the Huskies and, three plays later, freshman quarterback Demond Williams Jr. scampered eight yards for his first career rushing touchdown to make the score 17-14.
The Indiana offense answered with a touchdown in the third quarter and another in the fourth, led by the Hoosiers' rushing attack, which gained 188 yards on the day.
Will Rogers finished 19-26 for 202 yards and a pair of interceptions.
The Huskies return home for homecoming against USC next Saturday, Nov. 2. Kickoff is set for 4:30 p.m. at Alaska Airlines Field at Husky Stadium. Tickets are available.
