Klingler Drafted By Athletes Unlimited

SEATTLE – Senior infielder Baylee Klingler was one of 14 student-athletes selected in the 2023 Athletes Unlimited Collegiate Softball Draft on Monday night.
During her UW career, Klingler has posted a .429 average with 56 home runs and elapsed the 200 RBI mark last weekend in the series win over Stanford. Klingler holds Top 10 program marks in batting average, RBI, doubles, home runs and slugging percentage.
In 2022, Klingler wrote her name in the record book after being tabbed the Pac-12 Player of the Year and third-ever Pac-12 Triple Crown winner while leading the conference with a .434 average, 24 home runs and 71 RBI. This season, Klingler was a Top 25 finalist for USA Softball National Player of the Year.
Athletes Unlimited is a player-centered organization with teams being re-drafted by player captains every week and a scoring system for both teams and players. The upcoming season is set to run from late July until September with all games being played in Rosemont, Ill. at Parkway Bank Sports Complex. All games will air on ESPN platforms.
Former Huskies on the AU roster in 2022 were Sis Bates, Victoria Hayward and Courtney Gano while Jenn Salling served as a facilitator.
