April 14, 2023 | Men's Basketball
SEATTLE – Washington signed forward Christian King to a National Letter of Intent on Friday, signifying his commitment to Husky Basketball.
"We are thrilled to add Christian to our program," Head Coach Mike Hopkins said of the signing. "He's a highly skilled player with great size and a high basketball IQ. Christian is one of the top players in the state and understands what it means to represent our program and the University of Washington."
King, a 6'7" forward from Seattle Prep, joins an incoming class that includes four-star high school recruit Wesley Yates. The local product helped Seattle Prep to a third-place finish in the state championship as a junior.
He is the son of Rich King, who was selected by the Seattle Supersonics 14th overall in the 1991 NBA Draft.
