
Gymnastics Set to Compete in Pac-12 Championships

SEATTLE โ Washington gymnastics (7-12, 0-7 Pac-12) will compete alongside all seven other Pac-12 gymnastics programs on Saturday, March 18 at the Pac-12 Championships. Session 1, which will include Washington, Arizona, No. 14 Arizona State, and No. 19 Stanford will begin at noon PT/1 p.m. MT. ย
Session 2, which will feature No. 4 UCLA, No. 5 Utah, No. 7 California, and No. 11 Oregon State will kick off at 5 p.m. PT/6 p.m. MT. ย

Washington, ranked this week at No. 27 on Road to Nationals, maintains an NQS of 196.585 heading into championship weekend. ย
The GymDawgs are ranked No. 27 on vault, No. 25 on bars, No. 30 on beam, and No. 33 on floor, averaging a 196.277. ย
POWER OF THE PACย
The Pac-12 Regular Season title was split four ways for the second season in a row, with a split of the top honors going to UCLA, Utah, California, and Oregon State.ย
Last season in Session 1 of the Pac-12 Championships, the GymDawgs scored a 196.400, placing them second in the first session and sixth overall.ย

Arizona (7-9, 1-6 Pac-12) is sitting at No. 28 in the Road to Nationals rankings with a 196.570 NQS. ย

Stanford (10-7, 3-4 Pac-12) has notched three 197 scores this season, including a season-high 197.575 against No. 11 Oregon State. ย

Washington faced the Cardinal twice this season, once in a Pac-12 meet and one non-conference meeting. On Feb. 13 in Palo Alto, the Cardinal won the meet in a battle down to the wire, 196.625 - 196.375.ย
A week later at home, Washington dropped a meet to Stanford 197.075 - 196.625. ย

Washington finished second in the meet with a score of 196.625, tying their third highest team score of the season.ย
The GymDawgs earned a 49.300 on beam, their third highest beam score of the season to complement a 49.175 on vault, the second highest vault score of the year for Washington.ย
