
GymDawgs Host #22 Arizona State for Senior Day

SEATTLE – Washington gymnastics (4-8, 0-5 Pac-12) will welcome the #22 Arizona State Sun Devils to Alaska Airlines Arena on Sunday, Feb. 26. The Senior Day meet is set to begin at 2 p.m. PT.
The final home meet will be streamed on Pac-12 Network and will recognize student manager Ellie Bagley, Morgan Bowles, Brenna Brooks, Amara Cunningham, Kennedi Davis, Hadley Roberts, and Isa Weiss after competition.

HUSKIES SO FAR
The Huskies are coming off back-to-back conference losses to #24 Stanford. The GymDawgs lost at home to the Cardinal (197.075 - 196.625) despite posting many career- and season-highs individually.
Washington posted their second highest team score of the season (196.625) last time out.
Skylar Killough-Wilhelm tied a career-high on bars (9.925) and floor (9.925) and set a new season-high all-around score (39.425).
Lilly Tubbs earned a career-high 9.875 on her bars routine. Brenna Brooks (9.950) and Kennedi Davis (9.950) both earned career-highs on beam, with Lana Navarro tying her career-best 9.900.
THE COMPETITION – #22 ARIZONA STATE
The Sun Devils are 5-5 on the season (2-3 Pac-12). They are coming off an upset at home against #4 Utah, 197.550 - 197.500, notching their 11th best score in program history and first victory over Utah since 2003.
This was the first 197.000 score of the season for Arizona State, whose only other Pac-12 victory this season came against Arizona, 196.800 - 196.475.
The last dual against ASU was on Jan. 28, 2022, where the Sun Devils narrowly defeated Washington, 195.275 - 195.100.
NEXT UP
Washington will be on the road for the rest of the season, starting with the P & G Classic in Baton Rouge, La. The GymDawgs will face #6 Cal, #8 LSU, and George Washington on March 3 at 5 p.m. PT.
