Gymnastics Notches Multiple Career-Highs, Drops Dual with Stanford

SEATTLE -- The Washington gymnastics team (4-8, 0-5 Pac-12) had many career performances but ultimately fell to Stanford, 197.075 - 196.625.
Skylar Killough-Wilhelm, who completed the meet with a season-high all-around score of 39.425, led the way for the Huskies on vault (48.900) along with Amara Cunningham (both 9.800).
Killough-Wilhelm tied her career-high (9.925) on the second event of the afternoon, helping push the GymDawgs to a 49.100 on bars. Lilly Tubbs, who has been a mainstay in the bars lineup thus far in her freshman year, earned a career-high 9.875 on her routine.
Washington earned their highest event score of the meet on beam, which also marked a season-best score, with a 49.350. Three GymDawgs earned 9.900s or above on the event, including Brenna Brooks who led off with a career-high 9.950.
Lana Navarro and Kennedi Davis rounded out the last two performances on beam for the GymDawgs. Navarro's 9.900 tied her career-best and Davis' 9.950 blew away her previous career-high 9.900.
Tying their season-high floor score (49.275), the GymDawgs were ousted by Stanford but earned their fifth 196.000 or higher and their second highest team score of the year (196.625).
