
#25 Washington Hosts #22 Stanford for Second Straight Meet with Cardinal

SEATTLE – #25 Washington gymnastics (4-7, 0-4 Pac-12) will welcome the #22 Stanford Cardinal to Seattle on Monday, Feb. 20. The meet is set to begin at 2 p.m. PT.
The Black History Month themed meet will be streamed on Pac-12 Network. There will be a Black History Month t-shirt giveaway and post-meet backpack giveaway.

HUSKIES SO FAR
The Huskies are looking for their first victory in Pac-12 competition after back-to-back narrow losses to Pac-12 opponents Arizona and Stanford.
Washington is returning from a road non-conference matchup with the Cardinal on Feb. 13 where they held a lead for a while before dropping a nail-biter, 196.625 - 196.375.

THE COMPETITION – STANFORD, ROUND TWO
The Cardinal are 7-4 on the season (3-1 Pac-12). Their only league loss so far this season came to #7 Cal, 197.525 - 196.075 on Jan. 28.
In 2022, the Huskies were victorious in the most recent meeting with Stanford, 196.875 - 196.275 on March 6, 2022.
The time before that, the Huskies came in second (196.825) at the 2022 Metroplex Challenge, beating out Stanford (195.450) and Denver (195.050) and placing behind Oklahoma (198.175).
NEXT UP
Washington will host #20 Arizona State for the senior meet on Sunday, Feb. 26 at 2 p.m. PT.
The meet will honor seniors Morgan Bowles, Brenna Brooks, Amara Cunningham, Kennedi Davis, Hadley Roberts, Isa Weiss, and student manager Ellie Bagley.
