Lim Fires 1-Under 70 In Second Round At Stanford

STANFORD, Calif. – Led by a 1-under 71 from sophomore Carmen Lim, the Washington women's golf team shaved eight strokes off its first-round total, finishing Saturday's round two at the Stanford Intercollegiate with a team score of 289.
Lim's scorecard included three birdies and two bogies. Her 70 was the low round of her college career to date.
"I'm proud of Carmen and the way she hung in there today," said UW head coach Mary Lou Mulflur. "We need to put a complete round together tomorrow and end our fall on a good note."
Senior Camille Boyd was the next-lowest scorer among the five Huskies. She carded four birdies en route to a 1-over 72 Saturday. Classmate Stefanie Deng was 2-over for the round while Adithi Anand was 3-over.
Washington moved up two spots in the team leaderboard with a two-day team score of 586, 18-over par, good for 13th place.
The third and final round tees off Sunday morning at Stanford Golf Course.
