Soto Named Pac-12 Player of the Week

SEATTLE – For the first time in his career, UW's Christian Soto has been named Pac-12 Player of the Week, the conference announced on Monday.
In Washington's season opener vs. Sacramento State, Soto recorded his first brace of his career on the way to a 3-0 victory over the Hornets. His four points in the contest also mark a career-high for the junior.
In addition, Soto was named to College Soccer News National Team of the Week, the lone Pac-12 player named to the list.
The No. 3/2 Huskies return to the pitch tonight against Central Arkansas. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. at Husky Soccer Stadium. Tickets can be purchased by clicking here.
