Lynch Named Pac-12 Pitcher of the Week

SEATTLE – Following a 15 strikeout performance in game two versus Oregon State, UW softball's Kelley Lynch has been named Pac-12 Pitcher of the Week, the conference announced on Monday.
Lynch tossed seven complete innings on Friday night in the 2-1 victory over the Beavers, allowing one run on three hits and one walk to go along with her career-high 15 strikeouts. The game marked the second time in Lynch's career to go over the 10 strikeout mark – her previous high was 11 on March 7, 2020 vs. UC Santa Barbara.
This is Lynch's first Pac-12 Pitcher of the Week honor, and the fifth conference honor of her career. Lynch was named Pac-12 Freshman of the Week four times between 2020 and 2021.
The Huskies return to the field when they travel down to Eugene to take on the Oregon Ducks, April 22-24. All three games will air on Pac-12 Networks.
