March 27, 2022 | Women's Golf
PHOENIX – The Washington women's golf team finished the PING/ASU Invitational in 15th place.
On Sunday, the Huskies posted their lowest team score of any of the three rounds, finishing with an 11-over 299 in the third and final round at Papago Golf Club.
Sophomore Camille Boyd posted the best round of the day among the five Husky golfers, shooting an even-par 72. She also finished with the best three-round total among her teammates, with a 4-over 220. Freshman Jamie Hsieh finished three shots back of Boyd, with a 7-over 223.
"Not the week we were hoping for," said UW head coach Mary Lou Mulflur. "However, we learned a lot about our team and are looking forward to getting better as we move closer to postseason."
The UW women return to action Monday through Wednesday, April 4-6, at the Silverado Showdown at Silverado Resort in Napa, Calif.
