
Shoe & Clothing Drive Set For Feb. 12 Menโs Basketball Game

SEATTLEย โ The Washington men's basketball team, as part of the annual Pac-12 Conference Zero-Waste Challenge, will host a shoe and clothing drive at the Saturday, Feb. 12ย game against Arizona, tip-off set for 3 p.m.
The team is asking fans to bring new or gently used shoes or other clothing items that will be donated to individuals and families in need in via the Northwest Center. Fans attending the game can drop off items at collection points inside any of the entrance locations at Alaska Airlines Arena.ย Gates open at 1:45 p.m. for Dawg Pack students and 2 p.m. for the general public on Saturday.
Additionally, fans are encouraged to visit the adidas Give Back booth, located by section 11, to learn more about how to get rewarded for reusing gear and keeping plastic materials out of our landfills.

About the Pac-12 Zero Waste Challenge
During each football and basketball season, Pac-12 campuses compete with each other in pursuit of a zero waste home game in each season. Zero Waste is an effective tool to fully engage the athletes, faculty, staff, students, fans, and the community at the athletic venue to show active commitment to zero waste and sustainability.ย The competition encourages campuses to move towards zero waste and be creative on developing best practices, whether it be directly through reuse, recycling, and composting or by working with partners to drive impactful changes.ย Click Here to Learn More
