SEATTLE – The Washington Huskies had a huge fourth inning to turn the game around and carry the team to Super Regionals, beating the Michigan Wolverines 10-5. Washington scored seven runs in the fourth inning, the second-biggest inning of the year for the Huskies, after falling behind 5-1 early on.

Washington advances to the Super Regionals for the fifth straight year with the win. The Huskies will face #1 Oklahoma next weekend in Oklahoma with a berth in the Women's College World Series on the line.

Seven different Huskies drove in runs, led by Kelley Lynch's three RBI and Madison Huskey's two. Nine different Huskies had hits as well as Washington smacked 13 hits and put 16 runners on base.

Making her second straight start of the day, Plain fought through some early Michigan threats, with the Wolverines taking a 5-1 lead heading into the bottom of the third. The Huskies would pick up two runs there, then exploded for seven runs in the fourth inning. That huge rally started with a solo home run by Jadelyn Allchin and would put the Huskies up for good.

Plain would settle in after the early troubles as well: she faced the minimum over the final five innings, allowing only one baserunner, via a single, that was immediately erased by a double play.

		SCORING
First Inning: Michigan took the lead with two singles in the first inning, making it 1-0. That lead wouldn't last long as a sacrifice fly by Sami Reynolds in the bottom half would score Klingler, who doubled earlier. Second Inning: An error with the bases loaded was costly for the Huskies, giving Michigan the lead once again. In all, Michigan would score four runs in the inning, taking a 5-1 lead. Third Inning: With the bases loaded and one out, Lynch ripped a hard single into leftfield, scoring two runs to cut the deficit to just two runs. Fourth Inning: In the first pitch of the inning, Allchin ripped a line drive that carried enough to clear the centerfield wall. That was part of a game-changing inning for the Huskies: Washington would send 12 batters to the plate, scoring seven runs to turn a two-run deficit into a five-run lead.

		NOTES
Reynolds (1x2, 2 R, 2B, RBI) recorded the 100^th RBI of her career. Klingler (3x4, 2 R, 2 2B, RBI) finishes Regionals hitting .500. Klingler is now on a six-game hit streak, with hits in ten of her last 11 games. Plain (7.0 IP, 6 H, 4 ER, 3 BB, 9 K) is the first Husky to start two postseason games on the same day since Danielle Lawrie in 2010. Sis Bates (2x4, R, RBI) needs one more hit to tie Sara Pickering for the all-time Husky record.

Washington advances to Super Regionals and will face Oklahoma in Norman, Oklahoma.
