SEATTLE – Another big inning boosted the #6 Washington Huskies, who beat the #4 Oregon Ducks 6-1 for a sweep of the three conference games of the weekend series. Four extra-base hits in the third inning put the Huskies in the lead for good, capped off by a two-run home run by Morganne Flores.

Washington has now won three of its last four series with Oregon and seven of its last eight games against the Ducks. Washington is also on a ten-game win streak in Pac-12 play. The Huskies are 34-6 overall and 12-2 in Pac-12 play this season.

Sis Bates made history early, becoming the third Husky ever with 300 career hits in the first inning. She joined Sara Pickering (318 hits) and Ashley Charters (315) in that regard. Her leadoff single to start the game was the first of three straight innings the leadoff runner reached safely, helping Washington to its 5-1 lead.

Bates wasn't the only Husky to impress at the plate: Noelle Hee and Baylee Klingler both doubled, while Flores and Sami Reynolds had big home runs. Reynolds' homer was the fifth of her career against Oregon in just seven games against the Ducks.

		SCORING
First Inning: Oregon scored first, putting together a walk and a single for the run. Second Inning: For the third time this weekend, Reynolds blasted a solo shot, this time over the bleachers down the rightfield line. Third Inning: The Huskies got big extra-base hits to rightfield from Hee, Bates, and Klingler, making it 3-1. Washington's fourth extra-base hit of the inning didn't go to right but that didn't matter as Flores' no-doubt shot landed well over the leftfield wall for a 5-1 lead. Sixth Inning: Hee added an insurance run with a sacrifice fly for the final 6-1 margin.

		NOTES
Reynolds (2x3, HR) is the ninth player in the Pac-12 to reach double-digit home runs. When leading off innings this weekend, Reynolds went 4-for-5 with three homers and a walk. In her last five appearances, Willis (1.2 IP, 2 H, 1 ER, 2 K) has a 2.00 ERA. Klingler (1x3, R, 2B, RBI) now has ten extra-base hits in Pac-12 play. No other player has more than seven. Three of the six players with four or more homers in Pac-12 play are from Washington in Klingler, Reynolds, and Flores. Flores (1x3, HR, 2 RBI) and Klingler are now tied for the lead in RBI in Pac-12 play with 16 each. Gabbie Plain (5.1 IP, 7 H, 7 K) set a new career high in strikeouts, doing so in 39 fewer innings. Bates (2x3, R, 3B, RBI) has hit .400 against the Ducks after starting her collegiate career 2-for-14.
