
GymDawgs Finish Off Regular Season At Pac-12s

WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah – The Washington GymDawgs finished the regular season at the Pac-12 Championships with a score of 194.400. Amara Cunningham and Allie Smith each earned scores of 9.900 or higher, with Smith reaching that mark on vault and Cunningham on floor. Smith's performance was the highest vault score of the four-team session. Skylar Killough-Wilhelm had a 9.875 on bars, also the highest score of the session.
The GymDawgs started the meet on floor. Katie McNamara and Geneva Thompson earned a score of 9.825 each. Cunningham had another incredible performance earning a score of 9.900. This is the fourth meet in a row that Cunningham has earned a 9.900 or higher on this event. The GymDawgs finished this event with a score of 49.000.
On vault, the GymDawgs earned a 49.075. Cunningham earned a 9.825, her fifth score this season earning a 9.800 or above. Thompson also earned above a 9.800, earning a score of 9.850. Smith led the way for the GymDawgs earning a 9.900, the highest score on this event for session one.
The GymDawgs had several strong performances on bars. Killough-Wilhelm set a new career-high earning a score of 9.875. Killough-Wilhelm has set new career highs in all four events and all-around in the past three meets. Thompson also earned a score of 9.875, this is the third meet in a row she has earned a 9.800 or higher on this event. Thompson and Killough-Wilhelm tied for the highest score on this event for the first session.
