Wong Finishes Stay At All-Americans

CHARLESTON, S.C. -- Vanessa Wong finished up her stint at the season-opening ITA All-American Championships today, dropping a consolation draw match to Gina Dittmann of Northern Arizona.
Wong had a tough main draw loss on Wednesday against 20th-ranked Valeriya Zelevka in three sets. In the consolation draw today, the Husky senior was unable to get dialed in, dropping a 6-3, 6-2 decision. Dittmann is ranked 85th nationally.
Washington will compete at home this weekend for the first time, with the Husky Invitational bringing in Pac-12 rivals Oregon and Washington State along with Depaul and Portland State.
