SEATTLE – Junior Clement Chidekh reached the semifinals in both singles and doubles today, teaming with freshman Nedim Suko, as another long day of ITA Super Regionals action took place in the Nordstrom Tennis Center.

In his singles quarterfinal, Chidekh, the No. 2 seed, was tied at 5-5 with No. 8 seed Quinn Vandecasteele of Oregon. Chidekh broke for a 6-5 lead and then served out the set, and then won the second set 6-0, for a run of nine straight games from down 4-5 in the first. Chidekh will play his semifinal at 10:30 a.m. tomorrow against Portland's Sema Pankin.

In doubles, Chidekh and Suko had an 8-5 win over Stanford's Chaudhary and Koczynski to reach the semis. They'll face another Stanford team tomorrow at 2 p.m.

Ewen Lumsden was also in the main draw quarterfinals today, but he was unable to overcome top-seeded Arthur Fery of Stanford, falling 6-4, 6-1.

Jack Davis and Brandon Wong came up just short in their doubles quarterfinal, 8-6, to Gonzaga's Hollingworth/Trkulja combo.
