11 Huskies Named To Academic Honor Roll

SAN FRANCISCO - The Pac-12 Conference announced its Academic Honor Roll for the spring today, with 11 Huskies earning a spot. The 11 individuals earning academic honors are the most in Husky Softball history: Washington has had ten individuals earn such honors in 2013 and 2016.
Washington had the most individuals on the Academic Honor Roll of any Pac-12 softball program. Stanford was the only other school to have double-digit honorees. Only men's and women's rowing had more honorees among programs at Washington.
Sis Bates, SilentRain Espinoza, Morganne Flores, Kaija Gibson, Noelle Hee, Emma Helm, Pat Moore, Gabbie Plain, Sami Reynolds, Livy Schiele, and Francesca Torraca all earned a spot on the Pac-12 Academic Honor Roll. This is the first year that the Pac-12 has used the Academic Honor Roll, which replaces the Pac-12 All-Academic award.
Bates and Flores each earned their third academic award from the Pac-12, earning such an honor in every year they have been eligible to do so. This is the second academic honor for Gibson, Hee, Helm, and Plain. Espinoza, Reynolds, Schiele, Moore, and Torraca all are in their first seasons eligible for an academic award from the Pac-12.
The Huskies as a team had a 3.51 GPA during winter quarter this year, earning Washington's Women's Large Team award.
