Three Huskies Earn First Team Academic All-District

SEATTLE - All-Americans on the track and in the field, Husky standouts Olivia Gruver, Katie Rainsberger, and Mick Stanovsek are now eligible for Academic All-America status as well. The three were named to the CoSIDA Academic All-District Track & Field/Cross Country First Team today for District 8 for their combination of academic and athletic excellence.
Gruver, the National Women's Indoor Field Athlete of the Year, holds a 3.93 cumulative GPA while majoring in Early Childhood Education and Family Studies. Rainsberger, now an 11-time All-American with her two recent indoor honors, has a 3.94 GPA with an Anthropology major. Stanovsek was named the 2020 Elite 90 recipient for the highest GPA of any men's qualifier at the NCAA Indoor Championships. He has a 3.85 GPA in Cinema and Media Studies.
Academic All-America winners will be announced the week of June 22-25.
