- The captains for today's game were: Myles Bryant, Nick Harris, Brandon McKinney and Benning Potoa'e.
- The following 20 Huskies made their D-I debuts today: Jacob Bandes, Draco Bynum, Victor Curne, Tim Horn, Laiatu Latu, Corey Luciano, Trent McDuffie, Matteo Mele, Richard Newton, Puka Nacua, Noa Ngalu, Austin Osborne, Jacob Sirmon, Chase Skuza, Marquise Spiker, Faatui Tuiele, Alphonso Tuputala, Asa Turner, Jack Westover and Cameron Williams.
- Jacob Eason's 349 passing yards are the most by a Husky in their first career start. He is third Husky to pass for over 300 yards in their UW starting debut, joining Brock Huard (311 vs. Arizona, Sept. 21, 1996, W 31-17) and Taylor Barton (316 at UCLA, Oct. 13, 2001, L 35-13).
- Eason's four touchdown passes tied for seventh most in school history (done 22 other times).
- Eason was 9 for 10 with two touchdowns and 110 yards for a 284.4 passer rating in the first quarter.
- Richard Newton scored from 23 yards out on his first collegiate carry. He ended up with 91 yards on 12 carries in the Husky debut.
- Andre Baccellia's first quarter 50-yard touchdown reception was his second career TD and first since his Husky debut when he caught a four-yard strike in the season-opener at Rutgers in 2016.
- Four different Huskies had five or more catches, led by Hunter Bryant who had six for 81 yards.
- Eastern Washington's 64-yard touchdown in the second quarter was the longest pass play against UW since 2013 when Illinois' Nathan Scheelhaase hit Ryan Lankford for 72 yards on Sept. 14 at Soldier Field.
- Aaron Fuller caught multiple touchdowns in a game for the first time in his career. He is the first Husky with multi-TD receptions since Ty Jones caught two against North Dakota on Sept. 8, 2018.
- Benning Potoa'e recorded multiple sacks (2 for 19 yards loss) for the first time in his career. Three Huskies recorded two sacks in a game in 2018: Taylor Rapp, Greg Gaines and Levi Onwuzurike.
- Ryan Bowman recorded his 7.5 career sack, most among active Huskies.
- The Huskies have won 10-straight home openers.
- The Huskies are 39-0 when scoring 31 or more points in the Chris Petersen era. The Huskies have tallied 40 or more points during the Petersen era 25 times.
- The Huskies' 15-game home win streak is the fourth longest in the nation. Alabama has the longest home win streak with 26 games, followed by Clemson and UCF (16).
