Get To Know The Huskies: Gio Miglietti

Gio Miglietti burst on the scene late last year, making four starts in the Huskies' final five regular-season matches. The sophomore looks to carry the momentum from his late success last year and could see a lot of time as the starting forward in the Huskies' 2019 campaign.

1. Why did you choose Washington?
I chose Washington because of the great training environment and a great school
2. When did you start playing soccer?
I started playing soccer when I was 4 years old
3. What is your earliest or favorite soccer memory?
My earliest soccer memory is of my grandpa and myself playing outside in my backyard
4. Who are your four favorite soccer players?
Luis Suarez, Diego Godin, Dybala, and Messi
5. What is your favorite professional soccer team? How did you become a supporter?
Inter Milan and my father was a big fan and I just kinda followed
6. What sport would you play if you didn't play soccer?
I would be in swimming
7. What is the best advice you have ever received?
"Hard work will always beat talent when talent doesn't work hard"
8. What is your favorite place to go around Seattle?
Gas works
9. What is one random fact that people wouldn't know about you?
I would sing at family parties when I was young in Spanish
