
Myles Bryant Named To Thorpe Award Watch List

Senior Myles Bryant has been named to the preseason watch list for the Paycom Jim Thorpe Award, given annually by the Oklahoma Sports Hall of Fame to the nation's top college defensive back.
Bryant, a senior defensive back from Pasadena, Calif., has started 25 games over the last two seasons and enters the 2019 season as the most experienced player on a defense that has finished atop the Pac-12 the last four seasons. Bryant was a second-team All-Pac-12 player last year after having earned honorable mention in 2017.
Last week, he was named to the preseason watch list for the Bednarik Award.
Today marks the sixth day of summer watch-list season as, over a two-week period, lists for 16 college postseason awards will be announced. Here's the schedule:
