
Getting to Know The Huskies: Dylan Teves

Dylan Teves burst onto the scene as a true freshman last year, appearing in 19 matches, making nine starts. He finished second on the team with five goals and added a pair of assists on the season. Teves scored his first collegiate goal in his third match, finding the back of the back of at No. 19 Denver on Aug. 30.
Let's get to know Dylan!
1. Why did you choose Washington?
I chose Washington because I was attracted to the high-level education and elite soccer program. I wanted to be a part of this program and have an impact on and off the field.
2. When did you start playing soccer?
I started to play soccer when I was 5 years old.
3. What is your earliest or favorite soccer memory?
The earliest soccer memory was when I would play striker with the Warriors. This was just a youth team in Hawaii but I played with them from the ages of 7 to 14. I would have so much fun playing my neighbors and just scoring goals.
4. Who are your four favorite soccer players?
Luka Modric, Son Heung-min, Mesut Ozil, and Isco
5. What is your favorite professional soccer team? How did you become a supporter?
My favorite soccer team is the Sounders because they made me who I am today and I played in their academy since I was 15.
6. What sport would you play if you didn't play soccer?
If I didn't play soccer is baseball.
7. What is the best advice you have ever received?
Make the most out of everything you do.
8. What is your favorite place to go around Seattle?
Ku Sushi (50% off all rolls!)
9. What is one random fact that people wouldn't know about you?
Even though I grew up in Hawaii I am really bad at surfing.

Being late
