The No. 7 Washington softball team finished off its second straight Pac-12 series sweep with a run-rule victory over Oregon State Sunday afternoon. Washington shut out the Beavers 8-0, scoring in each of the last three innings. The Huskies improve to 6-3 in the Pac-12 and 29-6 overall with the win.
The No. 13 Washington women's tennis team picked up its 10th straight win, pulling out a hard-fought 4-1 victory over No. 50 Arizona State at Quillian Tennis Stadium Sunday afternoon.
The Washington women's golf team finished tied for third place at even par after the final round of play at the PING ASU Invitational Sunday. UW shot an 8-under round of 280 at Papago Golf Course in the third round.
Despite outstanding performances from Nick Kahle and Josh Burgmann, the Husky baseball team fell to seventh-ranked Oregon State, 4-3, in extra innings Sunday at Husky Ballpark.
