Washington Finishes Sweep With 8-0 Win Over Beavers

SEATTLE β The #7 Washington Huskies finished off their second straight Pac-12 series sweep with a run-rule victory over Oregon State. Washington shutout the Beavers 8-0, scoring in each of the last three innings. The Huskies improve to 6-3 in the Pac-12 and 29-6 overall with the win.
Amirah Milloy and Sami Reynolds each had perfect days at the plate, going a combined 5-for-5 with three doubles and four RBI. Eight of the nine starters for the Huskies had hits in the game, with seven different players scoring a run.
Gabbie Plain allowed only one hit and one walk to cruise to a shutout victory. She retired the first nine batters of the game and only allowed one batter to reach third base all day.

With this week's games in the books, Washington will hit the road for a three-game series at Cal next weekend.
