French, who is a redshirt junior in athletic eligibility, was one of 34 members on the Academic All-America Division I men's soccer team.
Β
Washington continues one of its best seasons in program history, posting a 17-3-0 record and advancing to the NCAA Quarterfinals for the second time. The Huskies, who have won their most games since 1983, travel to Washington D.C. to face Georgetown on Saturday, Dec. 7 at 9:00 a.m. PT.
