The Huskies closed their fall season with three tournament wins and one second-place showing.
"I'm really proud of our team and how they closed out the fall season, we have a lot to build off of heading into the heart of our season in the spring," said head coach Alan Murray. "Petr really played well in his first tournament in our scoring lineup and to also have Paul finish in the top 10 was impressive. We showed our depth in a really tough field this weekend and are excited to keep getting better before we start back up again."
Freshman Petr Hruby carded a three-round score of 12-under 201 (70-65-66) to climb six spots into his best finish of the season, tying for fourth. The newcomer went five-under for 16 holes before notching his only bogey of the day on his second-to-last hole but Hruby responded by finishing with a birdie on the par-5 first to close his round and give him his best 54-hole score as a Dawg.
Joining in him in the top 10 was sophomore Paul Margolis as he tied for eighth with a 10-under 203 (69-66-68). Margolis shot under par in all three rounds and turned in a scorecard with two birdies and his second eagle of the tournament to just one bogey.
