
Get To Know The Huskies: Ryan Sailor

Ryan Sailor has made his mark along the Washington back line this season, including playing the full 90 in the Huskies' 1-0 win at California this year. He has appeared in six matches this season, making two starts.
Let's get to know Ryan!
1. Why did you choose Washington?
I chose to go to UW because it is a great school both athletically and academically. Also being from Denver, I wanted to go out of state for college to experience a new environment.
2. When did you start playing soccer?
I started playing soccer when I was 4.
3. What is your earliest or favorite soccer memory?
My earliest soccer memory is when I was 6 or 7 or so; I stole the ball from my own teammate when he was on a breakaway so I could score instead of him.
4. Who are your four favorite soccer players?
Well besides the best to ever do it, Peter Crouch, my 4 favorite players are Matthijs de Ligt, Lionel Messi, Gerard Pique, and Frenkie de Jong.
5. What is your favorite professional soccer team? How did you become a supporter?
My favorite team is FC Barcelona. I started supporting them 2 or 3 years ago because of their history, the beautiful football they play, and Messi.
6. What sport would you play if you didn't play soccer?
Baseball or basketball
7. What is the best advice you have ever received?
Always stay humble and kind.
8. What is your favorite place to go around Seattle?
Dick's Drive-In
9. What is one random fact that people wouldn't know about you?
I am a Pokemon Master.
10. What song would you sing at Karaoke night?

11. What is your pet peeve?
When people chew/eat their food obnoxiously loud.

Groundhog Day (or anything Bill Murray)

30 days without my phone.

Teleportation

Go skydiving, go to the Kentucky Derby, visit all 7 continents.
