Blake Bodily and Lucas Meek teamed up to tally the lone goal of the match as No. 1 Washington picked up its ninth-straight win and remained perfect in Pac-12 play with a 1-0 victory at UCLA on Thursday evening.
The Washington women's soccer team lost for just the second time in Pac-12 play, falling 1-0 to the #18 UCLA Bruins in a nail-biter. The game was scoreless until the 87th minute, when UCLA scored following a series of corners by the home team. Washington is 9-4-2 now and 5-2-0 in Pac-12 play, tied for second in the conference.
On Wednesday night, the 22nd Annual Donor Appreciation Scholarship Dinner took place in the Don James Center. Each year, the Tyee Club puts on the event to thank the endowment scholarship donors for their incredible impact on student-athletes and the athletic department at the University of Washington.
