Nedunchezhiyan Ready For Second Wimbledon

SEATTLE - Former Husky standout Jeevan Nedunchezhiyan is set to make a second appearance in the main doubles draw at Wimbledon this week. Nedunchezhiyan, who is the Husky career doubles wins leader, is teaming with another former college standout, Austin Krajicek, and begins play tomorrow, July 4.
This is the second year in a row that Nedunchezhiyan has made the main draw at the legendary tournament. Last year he fell in a five set heartbreaker in the first round, teaming with Jared Donaldson. He and Krajicekย qualified for the main draw by winning two qualifying matches.
The native of Chennai, India, Nedunchezhiyan is currently ranked 96th in the ATP World Doubles Rankings. His career high is 75th, set in March of 2017.
As a Husky from 2007-11, Nedunchezhiyanย totaled 86 doubles wins and 83 singles wins and helped the Huskies reach the NCAA Championships all four years. He was an All-Pac-10 First Team selection in 2008-09 and Second Team pick in 2009-10 and 2010-11 and made the Pac-12 All-Academic Second Team as a senior.
