June 12, 2018 | Men's Tennis
SEATTLE โ Husky Men's Tennis Head Coach Matt Anger today announced the addition of a new Dawg set to join the program for the 2018-19 season. Ernesto Turegano is the newest Husky, coming to Seattle from Valencia, Spain.
ย
"Ernesto has a clean game and has his best tennis in front of him," Anger said. "He is ready to compete for us right away and yet he has tremendous potential to improve. His game will adapt well to the hard courts and I can't wait to get started with him in our program."
ย
Turegano is a graduate of Cumbres School. He is ranked No. 86 in the Spanish men's national rankings. He has a Universal Tennis Rating of 13.15 which would put him at No. 4 on the final Husky roster from this past spring.
