Kyle Coffee Invited to 2019 MLS Combine

NEW YORK --- Former Husky midfielder Kyle Coffee is one of 60 college players invited to participate in the 2019 adidas MLS Player Combine in Orlando, Florida from Jan. 3-9, 2019. All invited players will be eligible for selection in the 2019 SuperDraft presented by adidas which will take place Friday, Jan. 11 in Chicago's McCormick Place in conjunction with the United Soccer Coaches Convention.
Coffee was a 2018 First-Team All-Pac-12 selection after finishing second on the team in points with 15, scoring four goals and adding seven assists. He was one of four players to appear in all 20 matches, making 13 starts on the season.
"I feel very excited about the opportunity to showcase myself at the combine before the draft and couldn't be more grateful for everyone that helped me get to where I am now," said Coffee. "I'm hoping to get picked in the draft and be able to contribute for an MLS team in 2019."
A committee of MLS coaches and NCAA Division I coaches from every conference selected the invitees, all of whom completed their college eligibility this season. Further invitees including Generation adidas signings, non-collegiate players, and additional college seniors will be announced in the coming weeks.
