Two Doubles Pairs Selected to Oracle ITA National Fall Championships

SEATTLE --- The Washington men's tennis team will send two doubles pairs to compete in the Oracle ITA Fall Championships in Surprise, Ariz. beginning on Nov. 7.
The doubles teams of Jack Davis and Piers Foley as well as Kawika Lam and Enzo Sommer earned at-large selections to the main doubles draw of 32 teams.
The ITA Fall Championships cap off the end to the fall season as 64 singles and 32 doubles teams compete at Surprise Tennis & Racquet Club on Nov. 7-11.
Davis and Foley most recently reached the doubles championship match of the ITA Northwest Regional Championships in October before falling to Laurent and Charlton of Oregon. The Husky duo holds a 7-2 record in the fall season while also earning a third place finish in the A bracket at the UCSB Classic.
Lam and Sommer carry a 4-2 record into the Fall Championships after being semifinalists at the ITA Northwest Regional Championships. The pair which is ranked 27th in the nation by the ITA, opened the season by reaching the Round of 16 at the ITA All-American Championships.
