Tarr Named To NFCA Board Of Directors

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The National Fastpitch Coaches Association named Washington's Heather Tarr to the Board of Directors for 2019 today. Tarr will serve as the Vice President for Education on the board. Tarr is one of five vice presidents on the 2019 Board of Directors.
As a member of the board, Tarr will assist in all aspects of the NFCA's work. Her role as Vice President for Education will see her work particularly closely with the NFCA's clinics, classes, and other educational programs designed to teach coaches at all levels of the sport to grow on and off the field.
This will be Tarr's first role on the NFCA's Board of Directors. She is entering her 15th season as Washington's head coach and is the winningest coach in school history, with 584 wins. Last year, Tarr led the Huskies to their second straight Women's College World Series and sixth under Tarr's leadership. The Huskies won 50+ games for the second consecutive year, advancing to the WCWS championship round.
