SEATTLE -Â The two top-20 Husky cross country teams are on the road together for the first time, heading to the Wisconsin Pre-Nationals in Madison to race some large and talented fields this Saturday. The 16th-ranked UW women will be racing at 8:45 a.m. Pacific time and the 12th-ranked Husky men get going at 10:15 a.m. at the Thomas Zimmer Championship Course.

Flotrack.org will be live streaming the races for a subscription fee.

Already this is the final race of the "regular season" as the championship meets â Pac-12s, Regionals, and Nationals â make up the remainder of the schedule. Pre-Nationals give teams a chance to run on the course that will be hosting this year's NCAA Championships next month.

The fields are divided into Cardinal and White races, with Washington running in both of the White races.

There are thirty-six teams in the women's White race, including 10 ranked squads: No. 3 New Mexico, No. 5 Stanford, No. 8 Wisconsin, No. 10 Michigan, No. 12 Furman, the Huskies at 16, No. 20 Utah State, No. 22 Notre Dame, No. 24 Yale, and No. 28 Georgia.

Of the thirty-five men's teams, Washington is one of nine ranked squads. No. 2 BYU is in the field along with No. 4 Portland, No. 8 Syracuse, No. 9 Purdue, No. 10 Air Force, No. 17 Washington State, No. 21 Indiana, and No. 25 UCLA.

Twelve men and nine women will be making the trip. Some will compete in the unseeded Gray races. The men will travel Tanner Anderson, Julius Diehr, Talon Hull, Fred Huxham, Nick Laccinole, Mahmoud Moussa, Thomas Nobbs, Gavin Parpart, Tibebu Proctor, Alex Slenning, Andrew Snyder, and Mick Stanovsek.

Women on their way to Wisconsin include Sarah Carter, Emily Hamlin, Madison Heisterman, Kelly Makin, Shona McCulloch, Kaitlyn Neal, Olivia O'Keeffe, Katie Rainsberger, and Allie Schadler.
