SEATTLE – The Washington men's tennis team was selected to compete in the NCAA Men's Tennis Championships today, earning a match up with Tulane in Austin, Texas on Friday May 12th.
This is the second straight year the Huskies will be competing in the NCAA Tournament, after matching up with SMU last season in the first round. This also marks the 21st time head coach Matt Anger has guided the program to the postseason in his 23 years with Washington.
Finishing with a 12-11 record, the Dawgs will look to keep their season going against a Tulane team that ranked as high as 20th in the nation this season. They will play for the right to take on the winner between the host school Texas and Presbyterian on Saturday May 13th.
