SEATTLE – With the 2016 season officially underway, the Washington women's soccer team will be traveling to Knoxville, Tennessee to face the Tennessee Volunteers this Thursday August 25th at 4 p.m.
This will be the second regular season match for the Huskies so far, after falling to Portland on the road last Friday in a close 1-2 game. The Dawgs also faced Trinity Western this past Sunday at home in an exhibition match that ended in a 0-0 draw.

The Volunteers opened their regular season last Friday as well, falling to Southeast Missouri in a 1-0 match before rebounding on Sunday for a 1-0 win against Liberty. Freshman Maya Neal scored the game's loan goal off a corner kick in the 76th minute to help bring Tennessee's record to 1-1.
