Huskies Honored For Academic Success
NEW ORLEANS - All-Academic Team honors for the 2015-16 NCAA Division I Track & Field seasons were announced Thursday by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) and both the men's and women's programs at Washington were recognized for their excellence in the classroom.
To qualify for the USTFCCCA All-Academic Track & Field Team, the student athlete must have compiled a cumulative GPA of 3.25 and have met at least one of the following athletic standards:
The Husky men were also singled out for their outstanding academics during the school year. The team combined for a 3.13 grade point average and seven student-athletes reached the standard set out by the USTFCCCA to make the individual list. The individuals recognized for academic acheivement were sophomores Josh Gordon, Cole Jensen and Johnathan Stevens; juniors Blake Nelson and Carson Fuller and seniors Quadelle Satterwhite and Quinn Hale.

- For the indoor season, a student-athlete must have finished the regular season ranked in the national top 96 in an individual event or ranked in the national top 48 (collective listing) in a relay event on the official NCAA POP list provided by TFRRS.org.
- For the outdoor season, a student-athlete must have participated in any round of the NCAA Division I Championships (including preliminary rounds).
