Goings Wins First Career All-Around Title Against OSU
February 09, 2016 | Gymnastics
SEATTLE – UW sophomore Joslyn Goings won her first career all-around title as the GymDawgs posted season-highs on vault and floor on Monday night at Alaska Airlines Arena. UW finished with a total score of 194.250 to take second to Oregon St.
“We had a wonderful opportunity, but after a great start, we had some disappointing performances,” UW head coach Joanne Bowers said. “There were some individual performances that really stood out and they deserve credit, but we weren't happy with the team performance. I feel confident in the team we have and I see the work these gymnasts put in on a daily basis, we just have to be consistent.”
