Name: Sam Manti
Position: Pitcher
Number: 30
Hometown: Chula Vista, Calif.
Favorite part about being a Husky:
The culture and history that comes along with the jersey. We are playing not only for ourselves and our teammates but past players.
Best part of playing for Coach Tarr:
She is really invested in our success, you can see the excitement in her eyes when we do well.
Why did you choose the number you wear?
I wore the #30 all through travel ball and wanted to continue wearing it through the rest of my softball career.
My most embarrassing softball moment:
Whenever I think that there are two outs when there are really only one. it is the worst walking off the field thinking that the inning is over when it's really not!
