
Sixteen Huskies Earn Academic Honors From Pac-12

Eldrenkamp, Lindquist and Burr-Kirven all named to first team
The day after a total of 19 Husky football players received All-Pac-12 honors, 16 earned Academic All-Pac-12 accolades on Wednesday, led by first-team selections Jake Eldrenkamp, Jeff Lindquist and Ben Burr-Kirven.
Eldrenkamp, a senior from Medina, Wash., is the only three-time, first-team All-Academic selection on the team this season. An offensive lineman who graduated cum laude with a finance degree from the Foster School of Business, he was also named Academic All-District 8 and was a first-team All-Pac-12 offensive lineman this season.
Lindquist is a two-time Pac-12 Academic honoree, having earned a spot on the team last year. The former quarterback turned tight end and special-teamer from Mercer Island, is also a Foster School grad who boasts a 3.50 GPA.
Burr-Kirven, a sophomore from Menlo Park, Calif., is a linebacker and top special teams performer who was also a member of the All-District 8 team this year. He carries a 3.71 GPA as a pre-arts & sciences major.
Six Huskies were named to the second team: sophomore wide receiver Andre Baccellia (3.42, pre-arts & sciences), junior defensive lineman Greg Gaines (3.13, pre-social sciences), sophomore defensive lineman Vita Vea (3.10, anthropology), sophomore linebacker Tevis Bartlett (3.58, pre-arts & sciences), junior defensive back Budda Baker (3.29, American ethnic studies), and junior defensive back Trevor Walker (3.31, Economics).
Seven Huskies earned honorable mention: quarterback Jake Browning, cornerback Kevin King, safety JoJo McIntosh, tight end Drew Sample, safety Hayden Schuh, center Coleman Shelton and linebacker Psalm Wooching.
