Favorite part about being a Husky:
I have the opportunity to compete every day with a bunch of women that I love more than anything and I get to play at the highest level to compete for a national championship.
Best part of playing for Coach Tarr:
Coach Tarr pushes me to be te best I can be in softball and in life. I fully trust that Coach Tarr will help me reach my full potential as a softball player. She is inspiring and competitive which makes it so fun to play for her!
Why did you choose the number you wear?
I have worn 32 throughout my entire softball career.
My most embarrassing softball moment:
During my senior year of high school softball, I dove over a fence in the outfield to catch a ball and I landed so hard that I peed myself.

Kaija In Her Own Words:
I am a very competitive in softball and in life with both myself and other people. Making people smile and laugh is one of my favorite things in the word. I have bled purple and gold since I was a little girl. I love working with kids and I hope to coach a softball team after I graduate from the UW.
