
Huskies Head To Michigan For Wolverine Invitational

SEATTLE – With play at the ITA All-American Championships coming to a close last week, the Washington women's tennis team will travel to Ann Arbor, Mich. to play in the Wolverine Invitational from Friday October 14th to Sunday the 16th.
The Huskies will be joined by three other teams, including Miami, Princeton and the host, Michigan. Each school's student-athletes will be competing against each other individually, with no team results.
Washington will begin on Friday morning at 8 a.m. PT when they will face Miami in singles, followed by a matchup with Princeton in doubles at 11 a.m. On Saturday the Dawgs will begin with doubles against Miami at 11 a.m., followed by singles in the afternoon against Michigan. To conclude play on Sunday, UW will open up with singles at 7 a.m. against Princeton, followed by doubles at 10 a.m. against Michigan.
The Dawgs will face some stiff competition in Ann Arbor, Mich., with multiple players owning ITA rankings. Joining No. 105 Stacey Fung in singles is No. 11 Brienne Minor and No. 41 Kate Fahey of Michigan, and No. 5 Sinead Lohan, No. 32 Yolimar Ogando and No. 117 Ana Madcur of Miami. In doubles, Michigan owns the fourth spot nationally with duo Mira Ruder-Hook and Minor.
